Fun in the Sun!

We have had a beautiful April and yesterday might have been the nicest day yet! We headed to the beach and of course Ford had a blast! This little boy LOVES going to the beach! He is all smiles the whole time we are there!

Super Coop!!!

I am guilty these days of not giving Cooper much attention, and then he does something to make me remember that he was really my first baby! I was doing some yard work the other day and sat down in the shade to take a break, and Coop came over and got in my lap (all 80 lbs.)!! He was so happy that I was actually paying attention to him that he wouldn't let me get up. He is such a sensitive dog and truly loves Erik, Ford and me unconditionally. He is loyal and best of all he loves Ford! He is part of our family and we love him so much that he deserves a post dedicated to him!

He cried all night the first night!

 

After a few days he warmed up and became crazy!

Fun in the mud!

While I am a self-confessed germaphobe and clean freak I do my very best to be a fun "boy mom", and let Ford explore and have fun even if it means getting very dirty! We are in the middle of remodeling our yard which means there's a lot of dirt for Ford to play in! Erik just finished getting the new sprinkler system in and the yard is ready for sod so our dirt yard days are numbered! Yesterday while Erik was testing the sprinklers I decided to let Ford go crazy and play in the mud. Erik couldn't believe I was going to let him do it! He had a blast and of course I had to grab my camera to capture it all!!!
