Sweet Crabby!

It seems like everyday he is changing and getting more and more personality. I think that he is definitely going to have a strong personality (apple doesn't fall far from the tree :), but he is very snuggly and loves to smile at Erik and me. He is still a good eater and a great sleeper (again, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree :). We just love him so much and can't take enough pictures of this sweet little face!

Ford looks a lot like my Dad in this picture! I think we gave him the perfect name because he looks a lot like my side of the family!

Pumpkin Patch

After Church today, Erik and I took Ford to a pumpkin patch to take some pictures in the Halloween costume my Mom sent us. Unfortunately it was 85 degrees in Santa Cruz, and his velveteen costume is for much cooler weather! We made a quick outfit change, snapped a few pics and then took him out of his "sweat" suit! Here I am stuffing him in his costume with some help from a random little girl at the patch!

He was a good sport even though I am sure he was wondering what in the world we were doing to him!

Trip to the beach!

We love taking walks on the beach, and try to get out with Ford as much as we can! He is big enough to face forward in the bjorn now, and loves to look around at the beach.

He usually falls asleep half way through the walk!

Play date with Sommer

Ok so it was really a "play date" for Ashley and I, but we at least put them together for some pictures! These make me laught so hard because Ford not only has so many awkward faces, but his pants are up so high and it looks like he has on a turtle neck!

Sorry Ford, Mommy will do better in the future to not make you look like such a nerd!

Ok so I had to steal this picture off Ashley's blog because it is so stinking cute! Annike has been telling Ashley when I am bigger I can hold Sommer, but for the photo shoot she gave in! The look on her face is priceless!!

Getting Ready for Halloween!

My sister bought him this cute Halloween outfit and I thought it would be huge on him, but it fits! He just keeps growing and loosing more and more hair!!!

Nothing makes me happier then seeing these two together! Erik is such a sweet Dad to Ford, he is a lucky little boy!

I couldn't pick just one!

I know these are all the same pictures, but I couldn't pick out my favorites so I just put them all. Ford is getting so big and is such a happy baby! He is starting to smile when he thinks things are funny, so of course I will pretty much do anything to get him to smile at me. He isn't laughing yet, but it's coming soon!!!

You can really tell in this picture that he is starting to loose his hair! I guess we will find out soon what his hair color will be when it grows back in!

Sommer Negard is here!!!

Sweet Sommer Negard was born on September 22, 2011! Our good friends Christian and Ashley now have two little girls now!!! Ashley went into labor at 4 am and Sommer was born just after 5 am WOW!!!! She and Ford are 8 weeks apart and we can't wait for them to grow up together. I just love these pictures because Annike wanted Christian to hold her just like the other babies!! She is going to be such a great big sister! She has the sweetest and most gentle little spirit. She has and will always have a special little place in my heart!! She calls me CeCe and likes to kiss me on my lips!!

Sommer weighed in at 8 pounds, and even though Ford is 8 weeks older than her, he only weighed 9 lbs in this picture! Only about a lb apart!!
