Fun in the mud!

While I am a self-confessed germaphobe and clean freak I do my very best to be a fun "boy mom", and let Ford explore and have fun even if it means getting very dirty! We are in the middle of remodeling our yard which means there's a lot of dirt for Ford to play in! Erik just finished getting the new sprinkler system in and the yard is ready for sod so our dirt yard days are numbered! Yesterday while Erik was testing the sprinklers I decided to let Ford go crazy and play in the mud. Erik couldn't believe I was going to let him do it! He had a blast and of course I had to grab my camera to capture it all!!!

Love!

Coop kept getting in the way!

Love this one!

Coop, is this how you do it?

Ford thought Cooper needed a little mud on him too! Cooper is always a good sport!

Mud isn't nearly as fun without your Tonga dump truck!

Watching his Dada in this one!

I did actually try to stop this one!

He figured out very quickly that mud doesn't taste good!

More Tractors!

We love hanging out with the Negards! Ford loves Annike and Summer, but really loves riding on the tractor! Christian took us for a little ride around the property and Ford loved it! Ashley was sweet enough to chase us around and take our picture! Thanks Ash!

Annike and Som are farm girls so they had to show Ford the ropes!

Ford even got to drive! Thanks Christian!

Look how beautiful their land is in the spring!

I am 20 months old!!!

Another month has flown by and it's been a month full of giggles and smiles! We are having so much fun with Ford and can't believe how much we love this little boy! He definitely gotten wilder this month! He keeps Erik and I laughing all the time! Here are some facts about Ford at 20 months:

*He is wild wild wild! He runs everywhere he goes and never slows down all day long!
*He loves trucks, tractors, buses and cars! He pretty much only plays with stuff with wheels!
*While he is wild and crazy he is very sweet and cuddly! He loves his Mama and Dada!
*He is talking a lot and has new words all the time! Sometimes we don't know what he's saying, but he knows exactly what he's saying!
*He loves to ask me "a go" where did it go?, "hap" what happened?
*When we are driving in the car he is always looking for trucks and buses and making truck noises!
*He loves to pretend to be sleeping, to be an animal or to be eating something!
*He is a super happy boy and super friendly! He loves people and loves to wave and blow kisses!
*He love to be outside especially at the beach!

*When we ask him to say please he says "pa pa pa"!
*He is still a terrible eater, but has recently discovered that he loves ice cream!
*He loves his blankie and lays it on the ground and pretends he's sleeping and makes snoring noises
*He always wants to know where I am and if he can't find me he starts to panic and yell Mama, Mama!
*He likes to show you his "boo boos" on his knees! He almost always has a skinned knee or a bruise!
