Great Grandpa Sandin
While we were in Texas we drove down to San Antonio to meet Ford's Great Grandpa and his Great Aunt Robin! Ford was such a trooper in the 5 1/2 car ride especially since he hates his car seat! This trip broke him in though and he is so much better in the car now! Grandpa Sandin is not from Texas, but he is one of those "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could" kind of guys!! He loves all things Texas and that is one of the many reasons we love him!!! We had such a great time visiting Robin and Grandpa!

Christmas 2011
We had so much fun spending two weeks in Texas over Christmas! Everyone was awaiting Ford's arrival. We were on the go almost everyday and Ford got to the grand tour of Texas. I didn't take nearly enough pictures, and I didn't even take any pictures with my mom. Sorry Nana :( This was a very special first Christmas for Ford, and I know he loved meeting all of his Texas family!
Ford's cousins thought he should put his big head to some use!!!
Ford wasn't really into it!!!
Katy and Jake absolutely loved Ford! It was so sweet to see all three of them together! Ford wathched everything they did, and thought they were so funny!

Texas Bound!!!
We are headed to Texas next week for Christmas and we are both soooo excited!!! Ford can't wait to meet his Texas family!!! I always tell him that he is half Texan!! I thought in honor of his Texas homecoming we would break out some Texas gear!!! I sometimes can't believe the things he lets me do to him. What a trooper!!!
First night out!!!
Erik and I had our first night out last weekend! We went to the Maffia's Christmas party with all of our closest friends! We had a great time and Ford did great for his babysitters too (he slept the whole time :). Erik parents were so sweet to come down to babysit for us! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Almost!
Ford is almost laughing, but not quite yet! He has some little giggles and is always smiling (and squirming as you will see in the videos), but I keep waiting for him to bust out in a full on belly laugh. It's coming soon I just know it! Until then check out these sweet little giggles!
Circle of Life
Erik and I were at the beach the other day and I was taking some pictures and I yelled to Erik "hold him up and I will take your picture"! Little did I know that Erik thought he was Mufasa presenting his cub to the tribe! I started laughing so hard that this is what he envisioned when I said "hold him up".
This is what I was thinking when I said "hold him up!!!". They are both great shots! I love pictures with all my boys :)
