Daddy's Birthday in Tahoe!

We spent Erik's birthday in Tahoe, and had a super fun and relaxing weekend! We went for hikes, hung out by the pool and hot tuuuub (as Ford calls it!), and went to the beach!

Happy Birthday Dada!

I am 32,33 & 34 Months Old!

I am officially waaaaay behind on doing monthly updates on Ford! I did however takes pictures of him on the 29th of the last 3  months, but didn't do any updates! It only makes it worse that our sweet boy seems to have grown up so much in the last 3 months! Somehow we keep falling more and more in love with him, and he continues to bless us beyond measure! We are so stinking proud to be his Mom and Dad! Here are some facts about Ford at 32, 33, and 34 months!

*He is seriously the sweetest little boy! He is so kind to his friends and has such a gentle spirit.

*He is so well behaved and almost always wants to do the right thing and stay out of trouble! He is very rule bound (he gets that from me and not his Dada :). Time outs and spankings are very few around our house!

*He is so smart! He has an incredible memory and knows all his letters and numbers 1-10!

*He can spell his name and can recognize it especially on the back of cars!

*He is super detail oriented and always notices the simplest of details, like if I paint my toenails a new color or change my shirt!!

*He is still a big Mama's boy and I love it!

*He is very independent and tells us "I do it myself" a lot!

*He is as sweet as they come, but he is also all boy and one tough kid!

*He is so outgoing and always wants to be center stage doing something funny! I hear "watch me Mommy" a lot!

*He says "fuzy" when he's trying to say excuse me!

*He likes to keep things very tidy and loves to help me "queen"! He gets that from me too!

*He loves to do stuff to get Erik and me to laugh at him! There is never a shortage of laughter around our house especially at dinner time!

*He loves going to school and tells me "I'm so excited I get to go to school today!".

*He is very attached to his teacher Mrs. Mary Anne

*he knows all the kids names at school, everyone's mommy, and which car their mommy drives

*He loves to do anything outside especially riding his bike and going exploring with his Daddy at the creek behind our house.

*He loves animals and dinosaurs! His favorites are rhinoceros and triceratops

*He just started singing songs and making up songs. He loves the songs from Frozen!

*He has trouble saying S's and L's so he calls spiders "fiders" and his friend Liam is "Weum"

*He loves to ask me "wer do day, Mama?", and he wants me to recap his day for him!

33 Months!

34 months! Oh how you fill our hearts with so much joy!

Perfect Beach Day!

We had as close to perfect as it gets beach day in San Francisco! We got there early and had our pick for a beach spot! My friend, Krista, that I grew up with recently moved to the bay area with her family and we have loved having them to play with!
